Three visits, because getting it right takes time
- We listen We start with a long talk about your life, your history, and what's going on now.
- We test You take objective tests, like Creyos and QbCheck. They measure things like attention and focus. Your diagnosis is based on more than one talk.
- We explain everything We go over your results together, in plain language. You get your diagnosis, a written report, and a care plan.
Everyone gets the same care plan. The only difference is who prescribes medication. In NJ and NY, we do. In DC, FL, and CA, your primary care doctor or local specialist does, using our plan.

Our founder
Founded by a clinician who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult
Karina Campos, APN-BC, founded Neurokin in 2023. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of experience.
Karina was diagnosed with ADHD in her late 30s. She knows what it's like to go years without answers. She built Neurokin to give adults the thoughtful, respectful care she wished she'd had. Everything we do follows that standard.

Migraine and headache care
We also treat chronic migraines and other headache problems at our Westfield, NJ office. If you aren't getting Botox, you can meet with us by video.
Migraine evaluation & treatment
For chronic migraines, cluster headaches, and headaches that are hard to treat. Karina has added training in headache medicine.
Botox for chronic migraine
Botox is FDA-approved to help prevent chronic migraine. We give treatments at our Westfield, NJ office for patients who qualify.

How soon can I be seen?
It depends on demand, and it changes from week to week. To see the next open time, book online. Or call us, and we’ll find the earliest time for you.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we don’t bill insurance. After each visit, we give you a superbill. A superbill is a detailed receipt you can send to your insurance company. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you may get some money back. HSA and FSA cards work for all of our services.
How much does an evaluation cost?
It depends on which evaluation you need: ADHD, autism, or AuDHD. You pay one visit at a time, on the day of each visit. The price is the same in every state we serve. See our pricing for current prices for every service.
Can you prescribe medication?
Yes, in New Jersey and New York. We can’t prescribe in DC, Florida, or California right now. You still get the full evaluation, diagnosis, and written care plan there. Your primary care doctor or local specialist prescribes, using our plan.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. In New Jersey, you can visit our Westfield office or meet by secure video. In New York, your first visit is by video, and we plan in-person visits at our Manhattan office with you. In DC, Florida, and California, all visits are by video. For a video visit, you need to be in one of these places at the time of your visit.
What is AuDHD?
AuDHD means being both autistic and ADHD. The two often show up together and affect each other. Since 2013, clinicians can diagnose both at the same time. We evaluate both in one process, so you don’t have to pick one to start with.
Can you be diagnosed with ADHD or autism as an adult?
Yes. Many people are diagnosed as adults. It often happens after burnout, a big life change, or noticing the same patterns for years. An adult diagnosis is just as real, and it can bring a lot of clarity.
What can I do with my diagnosis?
Your written report and care plan can help you ask for accommodations at work or school. You can share them with your therapist or doctors. They also give you clear words for how your brain works.
What happens after my evaluation?
We go over your results with you in plain language and explain your next steps. In New Jersey and New York, we can keep caring for you and prescribe medication. In DC, Florida, and California, you take your care plan to your primary care doctor or local specialist.
